From Watson 75149
Being a hacker shut-in I welcome
programs such as Solitaire on issue
#18. However I keep getting an
"Illegal Quantity in line 2560"
error. I have tried several
modifications without success. Is
there an error? If so what is it?

I would like to know how to get a
Gorilla Banana printer to work with
Paperback Writer 64.

From Royeton 89015
I think the idea of placing Loadstar
on magazine stands was a very good
one. It helped me get off my rear-end
and look into disk magazines. Since I
always have problems typing in
programs from the magazines, you help
out a lot.
When I purchased your disk, I also
purchased a disk magazine from a
competing company and have found
yours to be far superior in ease of
use and format especially. This is
handy for a beginner with computers
like me.
Some advice to your subscribers. Do
not purchase Polaroid disks! Out of
the 2 boxes I purchased about 8 of
them had to be formatted several
times before the formatting would
take. I have also recently learned
that Polaroid disks will lose
programs that have been saved on
them, and all but about 5 of mine no
longer accept data (and there is
nothing on them now)!

What is the possibility of making
the Loadstar friendlier to the C-128
and the 1571 disk drive?

Do you know of anyone that carries
colored ribbons for the Okidata 120
printer? Maybe I can add some color
to my Print Shop printouts.

Keep up the good work and I'll
subscribe as soon as I can afford it.

I want to copy the "action" and
".tag" files from the ACTIONAUTS
program on LOADSTAR 21. These files
don't seem to show in the directory.

Dear LoadStar,
Would you please answer the
questions listed below and enlighten
me on my concern with the future of
my investment in a Commodore 128
system.
1. Since purchasing the 128, I
have seen very little software
developed that make use of the 80
column mode of the 128 system - this
is the major reason why I purchased
the 128 system.
However, more attention seems to be
on the Amiga system by the software
houses instead of the 128. Should I
have purchased an Amiga system instead
of the 128?

2. Does Loadstar intend to issue
software in the monthly diskettes
that will use the 80 column mode of
the 128 system?

3rd. Does anybody know where the
CodeWriter Corp. has gone to?
I currently own their Filewriter,
MenuWriter, ReportWriter, and
SpeedWriter programs and would like
to know if they have been written for
the 128 system, or has the company
gone out of business.

From Glowczwski 60452
I never see any PLUS/4 programs on
the Loadstar disk, however there is a
great deal of 128 information coming
out. What's the deal?
